Parasite Worm Neodactylodiscus Japanese T-Shirt

50.00

HARD TO FIND JAPAN IMPORT
This is a brand new original and authentic T-Shirt from the Meguro Parasitological Museum in Tokyo.

This is a perfect Z-Grade T-Shirt for fans of unusual items or that special weirdo in your life. The design has a bright neon yellow illustration on a dark green shirt that features the parasite called Neodactylodiscus Latimeris (Kamegai, 1971). The parasite was found when they first dissected a fossil fish called Coelacanth and found it inside the fin in 1967, Japan.

The tag explains the parasite was discovered by the founder of this museum, Satoru Kamei. It is believed this parasite had lived together with Coelacanth for thousand of years until extinct. This tiny little beauty is only 1mm long.

The shirt is only available at the gift shop at the museum in Tokyo, and of course right here on Z-Grade.
