Parasite Worm Didymocystis Japanese T-Shirt
HARD TO FIND JAPAN IMPORT
This is a brand new original and authentic T-Shirt from the Meguro Parasitological Museum in Tokyo.
This is a perfect Z-Grade T-Shirt for fans of unusual items or that special weirdo in your life. The shirt has a wild bright pink illustration on a brown shirt that features the parasite called Didymocystis Margolisi Kamegai et Araki, 1995. The parasite lives underneath the skin of the Katsuo (Bonito Fish) caught off the Pacific coast of central Japan. These worms are always found in pairs inside a round cyst. The cyst can be as big as a golf ball. Not harmful to humans.
The tag explains the parasite was named by Canadian scientist Dr. Leo Margolis who often visited the Meguro Parasitological Museum.
The shirt is only available at the gift shop at the museum in Tokyo, and of course right here on Z-Grade.
