Japanese VHS release of this over-the-top skidrow horror comedy. This cult classic chronicles the fate of homeless Brooklyn winos when they get into some tainted wine and begin melting into slimy puddles of human goo. The hardcore wine, called "Tenafly Viper," is being sold by the owner of a liquor store who found some cases of it lying around in his basement and sells it to the bums for a buck. It is later revealed that this true rotgut wine was deliberately spiked by the government. Outrageous special gore effects abound in this low-budget Z-Grade classick that runs a full 1:41 minutes long. More goo for you. Written with love by Roy Frumkes of Document of the Dead fame and more. The original sleeve artwork is in good condition with some stickers and minimal wear along the bottom. Spine has sun fading issues. Plus there is some water staining (shows more on the inside) and warping along the bottom of the sleeve itself. VHS tape has been previewed and plays great with minimal glitches. Sleeve scan is for reference only. Plastic clamshell case.
As per most vintage Japanese film releases on vhs or dvd, this film may contain some small optical pixelation or fogging to obscure any lower full frontal nudity.
