In this Bond style thriller, the evil villain is also an evil villainess in this campy schlock bit of genius. Velvet Von Ragner (played completely over-the-top by GENE SIMMONS of KISS fame), an androgynous, leather-bound cross-dressing criminal genius, along with his gang of punk rock flunkies, has plans to finish off all of L.A. by contaminating the city's water supply. Standing in the way of his (or her, as the case may be) success is undercover agent Drew Stargrove (GEORGE LAZENBY... a former Bond himself), but he is brutally murdered in the process. Looking for revenge, his son, high school gymnast Lance (JOHN STAMOS), enters the dangerous world of espionage and takes up the fight assisted by the sexy secret agent Danja Deering (former Prince pop star protegé VANITY) as his assistant. VANITY does show off some of her assets in this gem btw. Fast-paced action, tons of explosions, battles, chases and of course romance in this fun Z-Grade schlock-fest. C'mon, Stamos as a secret agent??!! Gotta love that! Watch for the lovely TARA BUCKMAN in the opening sequence as the sacrificed punkette and Riley, one of Ragners followers, played by ROBERT ENGLUND.
