A countrified naive hick musician (GARY KNOX) has big plans for success in the music biz in New York City, just as soon as he reunites with his girlfriend who lives in the Big Apple now. He arrives and heads for her place, only to discover she's with someone else now, and perhaps is a prostitute. He storms off and one thing leads to another and hooks up with a gay casting agent that seduces him in more ways than one. He transforms from hayseed to cynical, bisexual hipster in the East Village. Eventually he gets entrenched in the macabre, androgynous, and decadent underworld, where he becomes open to the proposition made by the wife (ZOE TAMERLAINE LUND) of a very wealthy man (DANIEL CHAPMAN). The woman suggests organizing a murder-for-hire operation... and further suggests that her relationship with the country slicker, now turned femme fatale, need not be confined to office hours. Sort of a very low-rent MIDNIGHT COWBOY with just a hint of the brilliance of that film. A Z-Grade curio for the artistic inclined, but with a dash of pure schlock.
